Professional Interests
VR Therapeutics.
For the past three years, I have contributed to the design, content development, production, and, recently, the evaluation of AppliedVR’s therapeutic programs. I also developed content for a VR therapeutic program to reduce MRI Anxiety with Immersed Therapy.
Virtual Humans.
My dissertation project was a collaboration with the USC Institute of Creative Technologies to examine the potential of virtual humans (avatars and agents) in eliciting self-disclosure during clinical interviews with college students. I am currently working towards publishing a paper on our main findings.
Avatar and Agent-based Therapy.
I hope to integrate my clinical and research expertise in the development and execution of VR-based therapeutics offering avatar-based supportive therapies as well as agent-based psychological interventions.
